久米島的海灘中最有名的是「HATE之濱」。島的東側有一座7公里左右的砂島，可以搭小艇等前往。此外還有像龜殼一般鋪滿海岸的「疊石」，樹齡超過250年，同時也是國家指定天然紀念物的琉球松「五枝之松」等。久米島有許多值得造訪的地方。

There are many historic sites in the Island, and is located about 90km west of Naha City. Kume is covered with rich greenery. Ifu Beach, located on the east of the island, and “Hate no Hama”, an island made of only sandy beaches, are the two popular spots. The traditional art work, Kumejima Pongee is said to be the roof of Japanese pongee. Recently, deep sea mineral water from a depth of 600m is fully utilized for merchandise development such as food, cosmetics, etc. Additionally, a warm 100% deep sea mineral water bath remedy facility called “Bade House Kume” has become the talk of the town.
